I think it is very important to implement all the aid that technology has given us. I didn't know there were Text Read-Aloud Tools, which helps our students improve their listening comprehension, vocabulary acquisition, listening comprehension, and word recognition, I will implement that soon. I almost always see English content with subtitles, so I know how useful it is to add close captions to our classes, I will use also that in my classes. Every time I discover more and more tools that allow us to improve our students' experience and it is a relief that more and more are being created to make our classes more and more interactive.

Extremely Important resource! The above resource had given me an insight into all the beneficial digital tool that educators could use to reach all stages of the SAMR model. One resource, in particular, caught my eye, YoutTube. Through a further investigation into how I could utilise YouTube in my classroom, I discovered, that students can upload their assessment pieces, or even class tasks, onto this platform. Youtube, is possibly the best resource for education, as it has various privacy settings, which allow students to upload their work privately while also allowing their teacher and peers to review their uploaded work.
Additionally, youtube is great as it will enable the Educator to create a class page, in which all students have access too, and can upload assessment work. Aside from this feature, students will also have the opportunity to comment on their peers' posts, proving collaboration. Lastly, YouTube is a fantastic resource, as it allows students to practice the redefinition level of the SAMR model.

Thinking of all students capabilities is essential! Educators need to consider the possibility that they may encounter a student with learning disabilities or special needs. Educators, when faced with this situation need to always have a modified assessment plan that is suited to the students learning needs.
Additionally, a mini-unit needs to be developed for students who have learning disabilities, so that they are able to pass the course, through the use of digital pedagogies.

If you are using Google Meet or Zoom or WebEx or other video chat platform you may have an issue with people who speak different languages. When they type in the chat... if you don't know the language, this could be an issue. A teacher told me she has several kids in her class that speak different languages. So I created a SPREADSHEET that the kids can use for the chat. They can put their chat comments into column B of the spreadsheet and students can reply in column B. Each in their own native language. Column C automatically translates whatever is in Column B... no matter the language... to English. The spreadsheet also translates to ALL other supported languages. This spreadsheet has NO code and thus no authorization required. Enjoy!
