Project Yamina - inspiring girls to break stereotypes
Project Yamina Many girls take part in sport, or study science, technology, or another "boys" subject in high school, college or university. Yet, they often drop out before entering the career market. Girls complain they have no one to look up to: that it seems career leaders are all men. Project Yamina aims to inspire young girls to enter male dominated careers, by featuring women who can act as role models alongside neat news stories and other features. Launching online September 2014. A 2014 JISC Summer of Student Innovation winner.

What is 3D digitisation?
In addition to being able to view representations from many different perspectives, 3D digital models facilitate interactivity within virtual simulations of real-world scenarios. For example, a digital aircraft model, when used with appropriate simulation software, will display the same aerodynamic properties as a physical aeroplane.
