Participants highlighted the need to understand the Chinese market and promote Russian brands and culture. Chinese companies expressed interest in importing a variety of Russian products, including grain crops, milk powder, confectionery, beet pulp, sugar, pork, beef, poultry, sunflower oil, meat, flour, grain, cheese, baked goods, and alcoholic beverages. The volume of mutual trade in agricultural products between Russia and China in 2023 saw a significant increase, reaching $11.1 billion, with a surge in imports of Russian agricultural products.
