Basically, content marketing is the art of communicating with your customers and prospects without selling. It is non-interruption marketing. Instead of pitching your products or services, you are delivering information that makes your buyer more intelligent. The essence of this content strategy is the belief that if we, as businesses, deliver consistent, ongoing valuable information to buyers, they ultimately reward us with their business and loyalty. Nowadays people also look for the facts and useful information about the products and services that they find interesting instead of ads.
So engage your audience with unique & useful story/ information of your services or product. Provide your information precisely not with bag of unnecessary stuffing of keywords. Make your content king in the marketing world and become a great Marketer....

As Google is slowly killing traditional SEO link building methods, we are seeing a wave of content marketing adoption taking over the internet. Google wants you to earn links, not build them.
Emotive subjects are more likely to be shared on social media. Whilst this would certainly true for Facebook, I'm not convinced wrt LI.

Actually, content marketing is nothing new, in fact, John Deere started using content marketing in 1895 when he published a magazine called The Furrow. The goal of the magazine was to seen as a resource for their customers.
The Furrow had educational content and focused on teaching farmers how to be more fruitful business owners. The magazine now has a 1.5 million circulation in 40 countries and 12 different languages.

We’re pretty keen on optimal timing for social media here at Buffer, and I figured it was high time I collected all the information we have about online communication into one place. I’ve collected research and stats on Twitter, Facebook, email and blogging to help you find the best time to communicate with others in each format.
The tricky thing I’ve come across is that since the Web is still so new, a lot of the research available to us is conflicting. We really need more time and more studies to get definitive answers about what works best, and the fact that our audience members are constantly changing their own activity patterns makes it even harder to work out for sure. Looking at the latest social media stats seems to only confirm that.
So my suggestion would be to use this guide as just that--a guide to help you work out what to test for in your own audience, so that you can see what actually works best in your specific case....
Content strategy and content marketing are relatively new words. Even though many of us have been blogging, writing articles, outlining pages, auditing websites, and doing other strategic and content marketing tasks for years, it’s really been over the past five to 10 years that these disciplines have taken off. Which is probably why we still mix them up—telling friends we’re attending a content marketing conference when we’re really going to a content strategy event, or tweeting about content strategy when we really mean content marketing. So today I’d like to clear up the confusion a bit by answering that one pesky question: What’s the difference between content strategy and content marketing?...
Important to distinguish between content trategy and content marketing and this post covers it nicely.
