Transmedia is the buzzword here in San Francisco at Storyworld. It means telling stories across multiple platforms. As a novelist the concept of transmedia goes against my creative instincts...

This is the buzzword here in San Francisco at Storyworld. Hmm. Think it would be STORY since this is Storyworld. But no, it’s transmedia, which no one seems to really understand is my impression ...
Bob Mayer has an interesting take on Transmedia, not one I necessarily agree with, but his reservations are really just the challenges that Transmedia Storytelling needs to overcome. [Sorry, this post appears to have been taken down ... will let you know if it reactivates.]
