This is a wonderful website created by a group of teachers to help other teachers with technology tips, tools, lesson plans, among many other things. But mainly with resources so that we can integrate technology into our classes with the children. There is a large list of webs where you can find a lot of games and interactive activities about different topics.
I think it will be very useful for me since I currently have a first grade group and when we work with such young children they require more fun and visual activities in class so they don't get bored, especially in this virtual age.

Digital learning rebooted

Digital learning rebooted | Education 2.0 & 3.0 | Scoop.it

In March 2020, UK higher education embarked on a sudden shift to digital learning. In the vast majority of cases, it wasn’t a designed and fully realised transformation of teaching and learning.

It was an emergency response to an unprecedented situation that relied on upskilling staff rapidly enough to enable them to deliver the remainder of their courses, and assess them, in as effective and equitable way as possible.

The extent of this digital shift, and the tools, techniques and platforms used, varied not only between universities but also within them, depending on the demands of different departments and the confidence and capabilities of the staff.

Teachers’ Readiness and Willingness to Adopt Digital Tools for Learning | Education 2.0 & 3.0 | Scoop.it
Yes, the chalkboard is a white board and paper and pencils have been replaced with laptops, but other than that? Beyond the physical differences we see in classrooms, the other changes we have seen are minimal – despite the opportunities technology presents to transform learning.

Boosting skills from roots to shoots | JISC | Education 2.0 & 3.0 | Scoop.it

At Digifest 2017, we announced a suite of new resources to help university and college leaders and staff make sure they have the digital skills they’ll need in their increasingly digital environment.

These resources include a digital capabilities discovery tool that will make it much simpler for individual staff – in many different job roles - and their managers to think clearly about their current digital capabilities, to identify skills gaps and create improvement pathways. The development of the discovery tool, and the resources that accompany it, is timely as digital capabilities climb higher up institutional agendas.
