I like the thumbnails they are using! Colors are great also.
One thing here I disagree with, I would NOT post the same image on Facebook that I use for the YT Thumbnail. The image needs to be resized or completely revamped. I took at look at Doug's Facebook page and considering he get 3,200 likes on his Instagram posts, getting 50 likes on Facebook is extremely low.
